Asia Pacific Scholars Congress is a global platform that brings together individuals and institutions from across the Asia Pacific region to exchange ideas and perspectives on a wide range of contemporary issues. Its Secretariat is hosted by the Akademi Profesor Malaysia (APM), based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. APM is a non-governmental organization comprising professors from universities and institutions throughout Malaysia.

The aims of the Congress are to :
- Provide an inclusive platform for scholars, academics, policymakers, and professionals across the Asia Pacific region to exchange ideas, research findings, and best practices on contemporary regional and global issues.
- Promote interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration among institutions and individuals in order to address complex social, economic, political, cultural, scientific, and technological challenges facing the Asia Pacific.
- Strengthen academic and research networks by fostering long-term cooperation among universities, research institutes, think tanks, and civil society organizations within and beyond the region.
- Encourage the development of innovative and policy-relevant research that contributes to sustainable development, regional stability, and mutual understanding among Asia Pacific societies.
- Support capacity building and knowledge sharing, particularly for early-career researchers and emerging scholars, through mentoring, workshops, and scholarly engagement.
- Enhance the global visibility of Asia Pacific scholarship by facilitating the dissemination of research outputs through conferences, publications, and strategic partnerships.

Important issues for the Asia Pacific region include rapid technological advancement, sustainable development, climate change, educational transformation, human capital development, social cohesion, governance, economic inequality, digitalisation, and cultural diversity in an increasingly interconnected world. Thus, this Congress consists of a number of conferences, namely the Asia Pacific Conference on Engineering and Computer Science, the Asia Pacific Conference on Education and Human Development, and the Asia Pacific Conference on Social Science and Humanities. Together, these conferences provide a comprehensive and interdisciplinary platform for scholars and practitioners to discuss challenges, share innovations, and propose solutions relevant to the Asia Pacific region.
